The mattress is very good, and we slept very well. The kids ours plus his friend slept on the hide-a-bed and also said they were very comfortable. We’re noticing that our water tastes very “plastic-y”. Coffee and hot chocolate also taste very bad. I have a brass pressure regulator, a charcoal water filter, and a white potable water hose going to the water hookup. The unit was winterized, and we obviously ran the water until all the pink had disappeared, and then for another few minutes just for good measure. Will the bad taste go away soon? Chris mrcomer ,
I thought I would go into a little more detail on prepping our rig for the upcoming extended journey. We spend anywhere from four to six months each year camped out in multiple locations chasing the sun. In fact, it was in a storage yard. Check out the photo.

And having this feature on your fridge can spoil you so that when it stops working, you feel as if your day has been ruined. But never fear, because there are often simple fixes that you can troubleshoot yourself. Here are a few things to try if the water dispenser on your refrigerator has stopped working. Usually, this reservoir is located inside the freezer, but it depends on the brand and model of your appliance.
Top-mount refrigerators don’t have reservoirs. The water line valve needs to be connected to your refrigerator before the water feature will work. Make sure this valve in the wall is connected to the refrigerator and that it’s turned on or open. This valve has to be open all the way in order for the refrigerator to receive water.
Kinked or Bent Water Valve If the water line is connected and on but you’re still not able to get water from the fridge, make sure there are no kinks in the water valve and that it’s not bent.
Tiny House on Wheels in British Columbia on January 4, While volunteering at a cold-weather shelter near my home in Grand Forks, British Columbia, I was consulted about designing transitional housing for the homeless. After some discussions with the staff and guests at the shelter I went home to draft some floor plans that I thought might meet the housing needs of the homeless, with dignity, at a low initial cost.
I was then struck by my incredible hypocrisy. Here I was living in a typical square-foot house — how could I possibly know what would be required for someone to live in a Tiny House? I am irrationally happy in my new home, and I now feel somewhat qualified to suggest some design considerations for small living spaces.

As with the hookup boxes I upgraded the first year I owned Ranger, the Delta Six equipment in the galley has been a target for replacement. It has better flow, you can point it in the direction you want it to go in the sink, and it comes in gray. The installation is very straightforward; remove the Delta Six faucet by pulling three screws from the top of the assembly, pull the wires free from their spade connectors, unscrew the city water connection, and pull cut the fresh water supply hose from the bottom of the faucet.
Installation of the Shurflo is just as easy; mount the adapter plate in the same screw holes, and connect the spade connectors to the power supply. One difference is the Shurflo kit includes a check valve assembly that the fresh and city water supplies connect to and feed into a common supply line to the faucet assembly. It became apparent to me during the installation that something had to be done with the nasty discolored water supply hoses.
And since I had some plastic tubing around the house from a replacement condensate lift pump, I decided to dive in an do this job right. These water lines were once clear… On the surface, this job is easy with just a few challenges. I taped new hose to the old hose and pulled the old hose through the cabinetry. A word of caution: Fortunately, I was able to pull these free without breaking my taped joint between the old and new hoses with some coaxing through the accessible spots in the cabinetry I did NOT want to remove my fridge again!
I repeated this process with the line attached to the submersible pump inside the fresh water tank as well as the overflow line leading back out to the hookup box.

August 29, at 1: Undo Auger01 Your contractor is pretty much correct with his reccomendations. A kw unit is marginal for central AC. It doesnt leave much room for anything else. With that being said, I can run my four ton AC with my 12kw Winco generator without problem. I installed a “hard start kit” on the AC which basically reduces the starting demand of the compressor.
If you want to rough in something for future use, I would reccomend a factory interlock on the main panel connected to a 50 Amp inlet. Undo logastellus OK, I’ll relay this info. I got a few more details from the AC product numbers: It uses V, with a locked rotor Amps of August 29, at 2:

The majority of RV owners do one of two things for Winter: Head South to warmer weather i. Winterize the RV and take it to storage for the season. Being slightly crazy we know there are tons of adventures waiting in the snow filled mountains.
Cover Windows, Doors and Stairwell — It blows me away how much cold air seeps in from the windows, the entry door and the stairwell, by adding insulation to these drafty culprits you can keep the inside of the RV much warmer. Purchase a heavy fabric and make curtains to keep the cold from coming in. Some people use bubble wrap, the bubble insulation, or the R-Max Foam boards which are all practical but do not look very good.

When it is necessary to connect into a horizontal water pipe, make the connection to the top or side, rather then the bottom, to avoid any drawing off any sediment from the water pipe.

Why do dispensing lines have to be cleaned? Regular cleaning of your beer lines, faucet, and keg coupler is crucial for maintaining a sanitary environment, preventing the build-up of yeast, mold, and bacteria. This regular cleaning assures that bacteria does not have the opportunity to reach levels that might cause off-flavors and shorten the shelf life of your beer. Line cleaning with the proper equipment and chemicals will also eliminate the build-up of calcium oxalate or “beer stone”, a mineral deposit that builds up when dispensing draft beer.
If left unchecked, these beer stones can flake off into your beer causing an off taste, as well as creating an unsanitary surface that can harbor microorganisms. How often should I clean my lines? In commercial environments, line cleaning should be performed at least once every two weeks. For home environments that may not cycle through as much beer and have a much shorter beer line, we recommend that you clean your lines every time you switch out a keg or every five weeks, whichever is shorter.
How do I clean my lines? There are several different methods for cleaning beer lines, including hand pump cleaning kits, pressurized cleaning kits, and re-circulating cleaning pumps.
